Helping Children in Need in the Dominican Republic

Welcome to Charles E. Decker Foundation

Our History

In 2004, after many years of travel in the Domincan Republic and Haiti, former advertising and marketing executive and New Yorker, Charlie Decker started a foundation dedicated to helping the orphange Niños de Cristo in La Romana in the Dominican Republic.

This support has expanded to two other orphanges: Jackies House in Santo Domingo, Orphange Hope of a Child in Monte Cristi and Dr. Fausto and Ana Gomez’s Fundacion y Caridad y Salud’s school and day care center for very poor children, in Las Matas de Farfan on the Haitian border.

The CHARLES DECKER FOUNDATION is a grass roots effort led by Charlie and dedicated volunteers. Charlie pays all operating costs of the foundation. It is classified as a 501 (C)(3) by the IRS. All contributions are tax free.
